Recently there have been some new developments in the village. Four new luxury homes have been built on Meaburn Hill and the Old Village Hall has been demolished soon to be replaced with a new one :-

The modern buildings have been set in a courtyard behind older, more traditional houses, and cannot be seen from the village itself. At present they have not been quite completed but new owners will have a superb unspoilt view to the rear.

Preparations have been made for the new Village Hall and as the development takes place so this page will show it. At the moment (12th. October 2002) the building looks like it may be finished early in the new year.
